At The Pitch, I got to point my whole brain at a brand that rewarded curiosity. Part newsroom, part cultural institution, part punk zine, it made important local journalism accessible without sanding off the weird, complicated, deeply human parts of the city it covered.

My job was to understand that world, then keep finding new ways to make it visible. Brand strategy, editorial direction, art direction, whatever the idea called for.

It was smart, irreverent, deeply local, and an absolute playground for creative direction. Here are some of my favorite worlds I built along the way. And yes, I made this shit by hand.
